Are you passionate about fostering a positive work environment and supporting employee success? We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing a wide range of HR functions, from payroll and benefits to recruitment and employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Job Title:  HR Generalist

Reports to:  HR Manager

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage payroll processing and benefits administration, including pensions and EAP.
  • Prepare HR reports and support employee lifecycle activities like exit interviews.
  • Facilitate internal communications, attendance monitoring, and welfare activities.
  • Assist in developing performance management and learning initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, updating HR policies as needed.
  • Maintain HR systems and accurate employee data.
  • Oversee attendance tracking and contribute to process improvements.
  • Participate in meetings and represent the HR team proactively.
  • Who we are looking for:

  • Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage), HRIS systems, and related IT applications.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality, professionalism, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working within the NGO sector is a plus but not essential.
  • Hours: The position is Part-time (4 days / 30 hours per week)

    Salary:  €44,000 - €46,900 FTE 

    Holidays  22 Days plus additional time off over the Christmas period.
