Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and offboarding.
Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
Coordinate background verification and document collection for new hires.
Payroll & Benefits
Coordinate monthly payroll processing with internal teams or vendors.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of salaries, reimbursements, incentives, and deductions.
Manage employee benefits including PF, ESI, gratuity, insurance, leave, and other statutory benefits.
Resolve payroll and benefits-related employee queries.
Compliance & Statutory
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
Handle audits (internal/external/statutory) and maintain required documentation.
Track changes in labor laws and implement necessary process updates.
HR Policies & Processes
Implement and administer HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
Support policy communication and clarification to employees and managers.
Drive process improvements and automation in HR operations.
Employee Engagement & Support
Act as a point of contact for employee HR queries and concerns.
Support employee engagement initiatives and HR programs.
Assist in managing disciplinary actions and employee relations cases in coordination with HR leadership.
HR Reporting & MIS
Prepare and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and MIS for management.
Track key HR metrics such as attrition, headcount, attendance, and leave.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and labor laws.
Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a process improvement approach.
Requirements
What You’ll Do Lead by Example: Be a hands-on contributor — writing clean, scalable, and production-grade code. Review pull requests, set coding standards, and push for technical excellence. Own Delivery: Take end-to-end ownership of sprints, architecture, code quality, and deployment. Collaborate with PMs and founders to scope, plan, and execute product features. Build & Scale Teams: Mentor and coach engineers to grow technically and professionally. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Drive Process & Best Practices: Implement strong CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and release processes. Ensure predictable and high-quality delivery across multiple projects. Architect & Innovate: Make key technical decisions, evaluate new technologies, and design system architecture for scale and performance. Help shape the engineering roadmap with future-proof solutions. What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a lead/mentorship role. Strong hands-on expertise in MERN Stack or Python/Django/Flask, or GoLang/Java/Rust. Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Deep understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and performance optimization. Proven track record of shipping products in fast-paced environments. Strong communication, leadership, and ownership mindset. Believes in delivering what is committed, has a show-up attitude Nice to Have Exposure to healthcare or fintech domains. Experience in building scalable SaaS platforms or open-source contributions. Knowledge of security, compliance, and observability best practices.
