JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Expert HR Payroll for one of our client in Munich. In this role, you will ensure seamless and compliant payroll operations while helping drive the digitalization and automation of our HR processes. You work independently, act as a trusted contact for employees on payroll and tax matters, and contribute to shaping a modern, efficient HR landscape.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure punctual and accurate salary and wage payments
  • Provide guidance on income tax and remuneration topics
  • Support digitalization & automation initiatives within HR and enhance existing HR systems and structures
  • Independently prepare and execute monthly payroll runs
  • Manage employee lifecycle payroll processes (entry & exit)
  • Maintain organizational management structures in SAP
  • Process accruals, wage estimates, and garnishments
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll or tax-related inquiries
  • Review time management data and align with employees
  • Prepare employment-related certificates (, earnings, working time)
  • Support and prepare payroll-related audits (income tax & social insurance)
  • Keep your payroll expertise up to date through continuous learning
  • Maintain and further develop the payroll folder structure
  • Develop and implement concepts to reduce manual work through automation
  • Support employees with HR payroll questions
  • Your Profile

    Education:

  • Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or comparable field, or vocational training with relevant focus
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional Experience in a comparable HR Payroll role
  • Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical HR payroll expertise
  • Excellent understanding of relevant legal frameworks
  • Confident in SAP HCM
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to analyze issues and develop creative, solution‑oriented approaches
  • Knowledge of HR trends and labor market developments
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Creative, resilient, and adaptable
  • High level of confidentiality and professional handling of personal data
  • Solid understanding of GDPR requirements
