RunLoyal, a rapidly growing vertical SaaS company based in Atlanta, GA, is transforming the pet care industry through technology and operational excellence. We are seeking a Manager - People & Culture to design, execute, and scale our HR, hiring, and people operations as we grow.
This role is ideal for someone with 3 - 4 years of experience who has hands-on ownership of recruiting, HR operations, and culture-building in a SaaS or fast-growing product organization. You will work closely with leadership to build a high-performing, values-driven team while ensuring our people processes scale sustainably.
This is a hybrid role based in Coimbatore , requiring regular in-office presence to support hiring, team engagement, and culture initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Own end-to-end recruiting and hiring for multiple functions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Design and execute hiring strategies aligned with RunLoyal's culture, values, and growth plans.
- Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline for recurring and critical roles.
- Manage internship hiring programs and intern onboarding initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to continuously improve hiring quality, speed, and candidate experience.
- Design and run structured onboarding programs that prepare new hires to succeed from day one.
- Close the training loop to ensure new joiners are fully ready to begin their RunLoyal journey.
- Act as a culture builder and culture carrier , ensuring strong value alignment across teams.
- Gather onboarding feedback and continuously refine the employee experience.
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual feedback cycles across functions.
- Own and execute the annual appraisal process for all teams.
- Create and maintain L&D content to support technical, functional, and soft-skill development.
- Identify skill gaps and training needs across teams.
- Design, coordinate, and track employee development initiatives.
- Support leadership development and growth plans for high-potential employees.
- Establish MOUs with colleges for internships, hiring pipelines, and future talent programs.
Performance Management
- Implement and maintain performance management frameworks that encourage accountability and growth.
- Partner with managers to define goals, track progress, and deliver effective feedback.
- Support performance improvement plans (PIPs) when required.
- Drive engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives across the organization.
- Plan and execute team-building activities, cultural events, and recognition programs.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, feedback, and suggestions.
- Strengthen RunLoyal's culture through intentional rituals, communication, and leadership alignment.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, internal policies, and HR best practices.
- Own HR policy creation, updates, and communication across the company.
Payroll & Benefits
- Coordinate payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
- Manage employee benefits programs and resolve related queries efficiently.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience managing recruiting and HR functions in a SaaS, startup, or fast-growing product organization.
- Proven experience building HR processes and culture rather than only maintaining them.
- Demonstrated ability to own hiring, people operations, and employee engagement end to end .
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams and leadership levels.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and execution skills.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, and performance management tools.
- MBA in HR or a related field is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular in-office presence in Coimbatore .
- Experience building or scaling HR functions in other SaaS or product-based companies , or the ability to clearly demonstrate how you can adapt and execute RunLoyal's people processes.
- Strong mindset as a team and culture builder , not just an HR operator.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a startup environment.
