Role Summary

The HR Specialist serves as the payroll checker, benefits controller, and lead for Philippine labor compliance and employee relations . This role ensures accurate and timely payroll and government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), clean due-process documentation, on-time DOLE reporting, and fair handling of employee relations cases in accordance with Philippine labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

A. Payroll (Checker)

  • Review payroll inputs including time records, overtime, night differential, and allowances.
  • Validate payroll computations and confirm final net pay totals.
  • Sign and approve the Payroll Check Sheet every payroll cut-off.

B. Benefits Controller (SSS / PhilHealth / Pag-IBIG)

  • Build and maintain expected EE/ER/EC contributions per employee based on current rules (2025).
