Clough , as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

HSSE Advisor

We are currently searching for an HSSE Advisor to join our team on the Project Ceres. Reporting to the HSE Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring all operations comply with local regulations, industry best practices & internal policies. You’ll further provide expert guidance & promote a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s HSSE management system.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Lead incident investigations and support root cause analysis.
  • Deliver HSSE training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate HSSE risks.
  • Prepare reports and present HSSE performance data to management.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in an HSSE advisory role, preferably in an Oil & Gas environment.
  • Strong knowledge of national HSSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
