We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support site operations at a major resource operation in the Karratha region. This role is ideal for a proactive safety professional with strong field presence and a practical approach to health, safety, and environmental compliance.

The Role

Reporting to the site HSE leadership team, you will provide hands‑on support to operational and project teams, ensuring compliance with site, legislative, and company HSE requirements while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide frontline HSE advice and support to site personnel and contractors.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with WHS legislation, site procedures, and standards.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action tracking.
• Assist with development and review of JHAs, SWMS, and risk registers.
• Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety interactions.
• Support environmental management requirements as applicable.
• Promote continuous improvement in HSE systems and performance.

About You

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience as an HSE Advisor within mining, construction, or heavy industry environments.
• Strong working knowledge of WA WHS legislation.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with site teams and contractors.Proactive, practical, and solutions‑focused approach to safety.
• Current WA Driver's Licence.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
