HSE Manager - Achim West, Germany

For a major construction project, we are looking for a Project HSE Manager responsible for managing and coordinating all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) aspects of the project, promoting a strong safety culture with the goal of Zero Incidents.

Manage and coordinate all HSE activities at project level

Prepare, implement and update the Project HSE Plan and HSE procedures

Perform hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management activities

Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with legal and project requirements

Monitor and coordinate subcontractors’ HSE performance

Interface with Client representatives, Project Team and Site Management

Monitor HSE KPIs and prepare periodic HSE reports

Manage audits, non-conformities, incidents and corrective actions

Degree in Engineering, Environmental / Occupational Safety or related fields

Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE roles within construction projects

Strong organizational skills and proactive mindset

Good knowledge of MS Office

Good command of German

Good command of English and/or Italian

Sifa qualification (Germany) or ASPP qualification (Italian Law D.Lgs. 81/08)
