HSE Specialist

About the role:

As the HSE Specialist you will take a hands‑on approach to driving a positive safety culture. For us, safety is how we work and this role engages teams through providing specialist HSE advice, coaching, support, and partnering with in‑field crews, line managers, and senior leaders. This is an active role and a key contributor to success in HSE strategies, systems, initiatives, and activities to deliver continuous improvement in all we do. Our office is located at Welshpool which has onsite parking.

Key responsibilities:

• Role model a positive safety culture, reinforcing Loram’s pursuit and strategy for safety excellence.
• Coach and mentor line and senior leaders in contemporary HSE practices and mindset.
• Serve as a functional safety and environment expert and support for railway maintenance operations on multiple Tier 1 mining customers’ properties.
