HSEQ Manager (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
In this role, you will ensure full compliance with processes, procedures, and quality standards. Acting as the Designated Person Ashore (DPA), you serve as the key link between the vessels and management on all safety-related matters. In addition, you will take on the role of Company Security Officer (CSO).
Your key responsibilities include:
Acting as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and as Company Security Officer (CSO)Monitoring vessel operations to ensure compliance with the company’s Safety Management System as well as applicable international and national regulations Analysing internal and external audit findings, following up on identified issues, and contributing to corrective action plansIdentifying, assessing, and monitoring operational risks and deviations, and ensuring the timely implementation of effective corrective and preventive measuresEnsuring that deviation reports are followed up and closed out within required timelines and to a high-quality standardLeading or actively participating in incident and accident investigationsProviding input to Experience Feedback, Safety Bulletins, Memo from Manager, and support the continuous development of the Shipboard Safety Management SystemConducting internal audits or inspections as requiredYou support the ship vetting process incl. Rightship, SIRE or CDI, as applicable to the assigned vessels, incl. preparation, conduct and follow-upSupporting office audit processes, including preparation, execution, and follow-upYour Profile
To succeed in this role, you bring the following qualifications and competencies:
Technical or maritime qualifications, preferably combined with relevant seagoing experienceIn-depth knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, and industry standardsPrevious experience in HSEQ-related roles is considered an advantageStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishA proactive mindset with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementAn innovative, solution-oriented, and results-driven approach to your workA valid Company Security Officer (CSO) qualificationProficient user of the MS Office packageWillingness to be available for emergency response outside of normal working hours and to travel on short noticeEU working entitlement is essentialIf you want to face new challenges with us, please upload your documents including salary expectations and earliest possible starting date.
