Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning & Recruitment:

  • Support plant management in assessing and fulfilling manpower requirements (on-roll and off-roll).
  • Coordinate with recruitment teams/vendors for hiring workforce as per business requirements.
  • Assist in interviews, onboarding, and initial training planning.

Labor Law Compliance:

  • Ensure all statutory and labour law compliances are met for the assigned location(s), including licenses, registrations, and records.
  • Liaise with compliance vendors, local labour authorities, and the central compliance team to address and resolve compliance matters.
  • Maintain and audit records as per legal and organizational norms.

Onboarding & Documentation:

  • Ensure systematic and timely onboarding for both on-roll and off-roll employees.
  • Verify and maintain correct documentation of employees, including contracts, ID proofs, PF/ESIC details, etc.
  • Coordinate with the head office for salary processing inputs and benefits deployment.

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for employee grievance handling within the region.
  • Ensure timely resolution of workplace concerns while maintaining a positive and compliant work culture.
  • Conduct employee engagement activities and feedback surveys.

HR Operations & Coordination:

  • Partner with central HR and payroll teams for monthly inputs, attendance reconciliation, and HRMIS updates.
  • Support the rollout of corporate HR initiatives such as training programs, appraisal cycles, and policy changes at the plant level.
  • Monitor attrition, absenteeism, and labour productivity metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 0–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HRBP role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
  • Working knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance (Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, etc.).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of labour law compliance and HR processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Organized, process-oriented, and detail-focused.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/HRMS systems.
