The Impact You’ll Make: Valmont is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager on a full-time permanent basis based at our Loganholme, QLD operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global company in a newly created position, which will see you lead and own the strategic development of high-performance people initiatives regionally for our Agricultural Division.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong HR generalist and specialist Industrial Relations (IR) advice on all employment related matters, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management and reviews, grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Develop, drive and implement organizational and people initiatives aimed at improving HR services in line with Valmont’s values, strategies and objectives.
- Deliver hands on support and guidance for leaders on capability, workforce succession planning and recruitment to achieve business outcomes.
- Use your advanced industrial relations knowledge and skills to interpret and apply employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements, along with coaching our leaders on industrial relations best practice.
Recruitment
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including the end-to-end recruitment process, system onboarding, and termination.
- Develop recruitment strategies, screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, shortlist candidates, and manage interview process with hiring managers.
Learning, Development & HR Administration
- Manage compliance with Valmont annual performance management and development initiatives ensuring +90% compliance
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records are maintained, ensuring confidentiality and security of information.
- Develop and interpret HR reports, providing insights and data for decision-making
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience working in a business partnering or generalist role. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Industrial Relations and providing practical advice on complex employment relation issues.
- Highly developed communication skills with the ability to develop highly effective relationships and engagement with key stakeholders and leaders in the business.
