Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to manage end-to-end HR operations for our café and restaurant business. The role requires hands-on experience in recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, and performance management within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end recruitment and onboarding of café and restaurant staff

• Manpower planning and attrition control

• Handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters

• Payroll coordination, attendance, leave, and shift management

• Ensuring compliance with labour laws, PF, ESI, gratuity, and statutory norms

• Performance appraisal management and staff engagement initiatives

• Implementing HR policies, SOPs, and best practices

• Maintaining HR records and reporting to management

Eligibility & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality / cafés / restaurants

• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance

• Excellent communication and people management skills

• Experience working in high-attrition, operational environments

• Proficiency in MS Office and HR tools/software

Preferred Candidate

• Experience handling multi-outlet café or restaurant operations

• Practical, hands-on HR professional with strong execution skills

• Knowledge of local labour practices in Pondicherry is an advantage
