HR Business Partner (Global Operations & Americas Focus)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with 6–8 years of experience who is ready to engage themselves in a wide range of HR functions and operate as a strategic partner to our business units. Due to the nature of our global operations, a key requirement for this role is the flexibility to align working hours with our counterparts in the Americas region .


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Core HR Functions

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor and partner to assigned business leaders and employees, helping to drive organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leaders to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing objective advice and conducting thorough investigations where necessary.
  • Ability to analyze system-generated data and reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Drive the execution of performance management cycles, including providing hands-on support with goal setting and quarterly check-ins within the Workday tool.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with all sensitive employee and business information at all times.


HR Operations & Systems Management

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the end-to-end onboarding process , including leading New Hire Orientations . Manage offboarding activity , including conducting Exit Interviews and documenting trends.
  • HRIS (Workday) Management: Serve as a power user for our Workday HRIS . Manage HR tickets , process people moves (promotions, transfers), and provide system manager support and process support .
  • Learning & Development Support: Utilize knowledge of and provide support for our Learning platforms and engagement tools such as Culture Amp and LinkedIn Learning .


Global Operations & Engagement

  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to effectively collaborate with leaders and teams primarily located in the Americas region , ensuring timely support and participation in critical meetings.
  • Support all employee engagement activities by using creativity to enhance team communications (e.g., developing engaging Teams posts or other internal communications).
  • Ensure consistency in HR practices while understanding and adapting to the cultural nuances and local labor laws across different global locations.


Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar generalist role.
  • Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Global Acumen & Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to support international teams and the commitment to adjust working hours to effectively collaborate with the Americas region is essential .
  • System Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with an HRIS like Workday is required.
  • Analytical & Presentation Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is necessary to support the development of professional presentations and global HR reporting needs.
  • Project Management: Good project management skills with the ability to manage complex tasks and drive projects to completion.
  • Autonomy & Communication: Ability to work autonomously and be highly responsive and a good communicator across all mediums.
  • Adaptability: Proven track record of successfully working on diverse areas within HR and quickly mastering new functional responsibilities.
