Position Details

Role: HRBP (HR Business Partner)

Role Overview

The HRBP will act as the first point of contact for employees and managers at the Kochi location, supporting the complete employee lifecycle. The role focuses on HR operations, compliance, employee engagement, onboarding, and employee experience.


Key Responsibilities

1) Employee Experience Management

  • Lead onboarding, induction, and exit processes for Kochi employees
  • Handle documentation, HRIS entries, offer rollouts, joining formalities, and background verification coordination
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with internal/statutory requirements
  • Enhance employee experience across lifecycle touchpoints

2) Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Drive engagement initiatives aligned with companywide “Connect, Grow & Care” pillars
  • Conduct pulse checks, employee connect sessions, and engagement surveys
  • Partner with leadership for location-level engagement events
  • Support reward & recognition initiatives for Kochi site

3) HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, Code of Conduct, POSH, and statutory compliance
  • Track attendance, leave, and timesheet submissions in coordination with payroll
  • Support audits and documentation as required

4) Performance & Development

  • Coordinate performance management timelines: goal setting, mid-year, annual reviews
  • Support L&D programs, nominations, and feedback collection
  • Track compliance training and mandatory learning completion

5) Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

  • Serve as an approachable HR contact for employees
  • Support grievance management, disciplinary actions with HRBP & Legal
  • Escalate concerns appropriately with confidentiality and fairness

6) Recruitment Support

  • Coordinate with TA team for local hiring needs & interview logistics
  • Ensure good candidate experience
  • Drive referrals and maintain Kochi hiring dashboards/metrics

7) Business Enabler

  • Build Kochi site as a great place to work aligned with EVP
  • Represent HR team to clients visiting the Kochi site


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR/Business Administration or related
  • 5–8 years of experience in HR generalist / HR operations roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and discretion
  • Knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking ability
  • Strong business acumen and customer-centric approach
