About the function:

The HR Department is the cornerstone of organizational success as it focuses on designing and implementing robust systems and practices for key people processes such as talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, capability building, employee engagement, and HR policies and initiatives. Some of the key focus areas for the HR team include - Attracting, Retaining & Developing Business Ready Talent; Harnessing Technology to Augment Employee Experience & Productivity; and Cultivating an Agile Organization Structure to Support Business Transformation. Through its focused efforts, the HR department aims to enhance employee engagement and foster an inclusive high-performance culture that drives profitable growth & enables strategic shifts for Business.


Position Summary & Scope

Drive the HR strategy for the Functions focusing on the Strategic HR tenets – Attract Right Talent, Performance & Innovation Driven Culture, Enrich & Engage Talent, Organizational Effectiveness. The person should be able to execute the various initiatives as per the HR strategy in consultation with functional head & Editors. He/she will be responsible for ensuring employee life cycle management with an objective to retain talent and drive high-performance culture.


Area of Responsibilities:

  • Attract Right Talent: Identification & Retention of key/ critical talent within the function. Focusing on critical hires while keeping a view on the overall people cost for the functions.
  • Performance & Innovation Driven Culture: Initiate and execute the objective setting / performance evaluation process to drive a performance culture. Drive closure of annual salary increments process basis performance evaluation. Drive innovation led programs
  • Enrich & Engage Talent: Identify employee / business needs, plan interventions in the areas of communication, engagement, rewards and r recognition. Drive the Top Gun and Succession plan program for the functions. Execute PACE launch, communication and deployment. Drive engagement initiatives through COEs basis functional requirement. Drive the Capability Building agenda for the function based on identified needs.
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Drive initiatives focused on Organizational Effectiveness, ie, Job Evaluation, Productivity & Org Structure, Drive interventions related to Headcount Cost & Nos. Facilitate change initiatives focused on New Technology Adoption within the function.


Qualification and Experience:

  • Educational Qualifications Required Relevant Experience Graduation+ MBA from the below: XIMB; TISS; SIBM; NMIMS; JBIMS; IIM Ranchi.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HRBP competencies.
  • Functional Competency: Ability to handle strategic conversations. Identify the difference between performance and potential. Identification of the critical role and critical talent.
  • Behavioral Competency: Candidate should have excellent communication skills and ability to showcase maturity in handling different stakeholders. Other skills: Relationship Management Result Orientation Analytical Thinking Business Acumen Communication Skills
