Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end Domestic Inquiry (DI) process, including serving as the Presenting Officer.
- Provide sound recommendations to management on disciplinary actions based on Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967.
- Act as the primary liaison with external legal counsel for Industrial Court cases, preparing factual particulars and legal documentation for chamber sessions.
- Conduct thorough research on case laws to support management’s position in labor disputes and grievances.
- Review and revamp internal SOPs and procedures.
- Identify structural gaps in existing policies to ensure 100% compliance with current labor laws and reduce organizational liability.
- Provide advisory support to Department Heads on managing employee performance and conduct issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
