What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

  • Independently manage 10-15 quality hires across business, operations, and leadership roles
  • Design and apply clear screening frameworks (not gut feel)
  • Reduce founder time spent on poor-fit interviews
  • Build repeatable hiring playbooks (JD → sourcing → screening → offer)
  • Maintain zero tolerance for low-signal candidates

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Ownership (Core Responsibility)
  • Own end-to-end hiring: JD refinement → sourcing → screening → interviews → offers
  • Actively source candidates beyond job portals (LinkedIn, referrals, outreach, communities)
  • Design screening questions and shortlisting criteria that filter hard and early
  • Conduct first-round interviews and recommend only high-signal candidates
  • Coordinate closely with founders and hiring managers
  • Hiring Quality & Process
  • Track funnel metrics: applications → shortlisted → interviewed → offered → joined
  • Continuously improve screening based on hiring outcomes
  • Maintain structured candidate notes and hiring decisions
  • HR Operations (Secondary)
  • Support onboarding and documentation
  • Maintain basic employee records and compliance hygiene
  • Assist in improving internal HR processes as the organization scales
