3. Ownership & Accountability Framework

  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and “definition of done” for employees
  • Implement review mechanisms to prevent repeated mistakes
  • Address recurring errors through structured corrective action
  • Reinforce accountability without micromanagement

4. Asia–Australia Coordination

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact between Asia and Australia teams
  • Prepare Asia employees for Australia-led open-floor meetings
  • Coach employees to confidently speak, ask questions, and share updates
  • Provide regular HR updates, insights, and reports to Australia leadership

5. Employee Engagement & Motivation

  • Design and execute employee engagement initiatives suitable for a young workforce
  • Introduce recognition and performance-based motivation programs
  • Conduct feedback sessions and pulse checks
  • Improve morale without relying solely on salary increments

6. Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Asia operations
  • Ensure hiring aligns with cultural fit, accountability mindset, and role expectations
  • Support workforce planning based on business needs

7. HR Policies, Compliance & Administration

  • Implement and enforce company HR policies consistently
  • Ensure compliance with Asian labor laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Handle vendor coordination and office administration as required

8. Reporting & HR Analytics

  • Track key HR metrics: attendance, engagement, training effectiveness, attrition
  • Identify patterns in behavior and performance
  • Use data to recommend corrective and improvement actions

Experience & Background

  • 6–10 years of hands-on HR experience
  • Experience working with young teams in IT, services, recruitment, BPO, or startup environments
  • Proven exposure to training, engagement, and employee discipline
  • Experience working with overseas stakeholders is highly preferred

Core Competencies

  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Ability to coach, train, and correct behavior confidently
  • Comfortable handling confrontation and accountability conversations
  • Structured, execution-driven approach
  • Strong judgment in distinguishing mistakes vs negligence
  • Ability to translate people issues into business outcomes

Education & Skills

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong understanding of Asian labour laws
  • Familiarity with HR tools and reporting systems
  • HR certifications (PHR/SHRM) are a plus, not mandatory
