Role & responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
- Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Oversee and improve performance management systems, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management (labor law, health & safety regulations, etc.).
- Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, well-being, and organizational culture.
- Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs in collaboration with finance and leadership teams.
- Identify training needs and facilitate learning & development programs.
- Provide decision support through HR metrics and reports
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (Factories Act, ESI, PF, etc.).
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations at the plant & corporate level.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
- Preferred form Manufacturing background.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Proficient in conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
