Fulltime Human Resource Manager - Based in Neerabup, W.A.

Wesbeam Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated national market leader in the timber manufacturing industry. We are Australia's only LVL manufacturer and distributor with a world-class factory in Neerabup, WA and distribution centres around Australia.

Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources Manager is a key member of our Senior Leadership team with responsibility for strategically shaping our employees experience. You will lead a small team to deliver outcomes in the areas of employee engagement and wellbeing, talent acquisition, employment/industrial relations, training, Payroll, policies and compliance. A focus on continuous improvement and first-class HR service are an expectation. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Actively contribute to the Senior Leadership team and participate in activities such as strategic planning, quality, safety and organisational improvement and change activities.

Lead the development and implementation of a contemporary human resource strategy that positions the organisation as a Great Place to Work.

Lead the development and implementation of workforce development initiatives that aligns the current and future workforce to the organisation's broader strategic objectives.

Manage the employee relations function including performance management, grievances, disciplinary actions across all states.

Manage the employee relations function including Fair Work Commission hearings, Enterprise Agreement negotiations, union negotiations across all states.

Develop, maintain and improve human resource policy, procedure and best practice guidelines.

Coordinate and champion the national remuneration review process, providing advice and support to senior management when required.

Provide backup support to the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee remuneration and benefits in accordance with award and enterprise agreement requirements.

Provide leadership and mentoring to the Support Services team, in partnership with the WHSE Manager, to deliver area-specific outcomes across HR, Safety and Payroll.

Monitor and report upon HR analytics.

5 years experience in a similar role.

Membership with a relevant professional association.

Highly developed written and verbal communication.

Advanced negotiation and people management skills.

Strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills.

Ability to travel East Coast Distribution Centres for site visits as required.

Desired Selection Criteria:

Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.

Not afraid of a challenging role and is looking for a long-term career.

Experience with People HR is highly desirable in this role.

Proof of rights to work in Australia.

Current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain at own cost(essential).

Ability to complete a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical, including a drug and alcohol screening with the company's provider.
