The primary purpose of this position is to administer appointing, and associated, authorities and to provide comprehensive advice on human resource management functions. Also to integrate the program objectives of civilian personnel administration with allied and related programs; to manage the office and direct the staff of the Civilian Personnel Flight (CPF). Responsibilities DUTY 1: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. DUTY 2: Administers appointing and associated Title V authorities on behalf of the Commander for federal civil service personnel at an Air Force (AF) installation.
