The Role
We're seeking a dedicated HR professional to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis as early as possible until October 2026 for maternity leave coverage, maximum term contract.
This role covers a wide range of HR responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. The HR Professional plays a key role in employee relations, offering trusted guidance to staff and leadership on various HR matters. The role is also instrumental in supporting leaders through coaching and proactive engagement, aligning HR practices with business needs and strategy.
Additionally, the role supports people and culture initiatives, including employee engagement, capability programs, and culture-building efforts. It requires excellent judgement, an understanding of employment law, and strong communication skills to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders, including legal advisors, senior leaders, and staff.
About you
- Has a minimum of two years of experience in a generalist HR role and is confident navigating Australian employment law, and ideally has experience across other jurisdictions.
- Can manage sensitive matters with discretion and maturity.
- Thrives in an environment with variety and evolving priorities.
- Brings practical judgement and experience to people related challenges and improvements, while being happy to roll up their sleeves for operational delivery.
- Proficiency in using HRIS/CRM systems such as BambooHR, with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- You are someone who thrives in a growth-oriented environment, values teamwork, and is committed to continuous learning and excellence.
