Job Description:
We are looking for an Human Resources Project Coordinator that serves as a flexible, cross-functional HR resource (“floater”) supporting the HR team. This role coordinates and executes a variety of HR projects and provides hands-on support across multiple HR disciplines as business needs evolve. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR experience within the oil & gas or similarly regulated industry, is highly adaptable, and is comfortable shifting priorities to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. This role is NOT open to remote or hybrid - five days in office required. If this role excites you, we’d like to talk with you.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates and supports multiple HR projects across the department, adjusting priorities based on business needsAssist with updating, maintaining, and organizing employee handbooks, policies and proceduresSupport HR audits, compliance reviews, and special initiatives as assignedProvide recruiting support as needed, including job postings, resume review, interview scheduling and candidate communicationProvide backup support during peak hiring periods of HR staff absencesAssist with payroll processing, audits, and issue resolution, providing backup coverage as neededSupport benefits administration, including enrollments, changes and employee inquiriesPrepare HR reports and workforce metricsProvide cross-functional support across HR functions (employee relations, recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, compliance) as neededStep in to provide coverage during absences, peak workloads, or special projectsAssist with HR process improvements, documentation, and internal communicationMaintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all HR mattersEssential Skills:
