Human Resources Specialist

Professional Staffing has partnered with a well-established Construction Company to hire an HR Specialist to their team with a highly seasonal workforce. This role focuses on full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations. During the off - peak season there are diverse projects for this person to oversee such as streamlining and improve HR processes across the organization. This position is 100% on site in Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruitment for seasonal construction and support roles
• Create and manage an applicant tracking and hiring process
• Review and update job descriptions; manage careers page and LinkedIn postings
• Coordinate onboarding, training documentation, and seasonal offboarding
• Maintain employee records, certifications, and support payroll accuracy
