Job Description
Amentum is seeking a HVAC/R Technician to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The HVAC/R Technician will install, operate, repair, troubleshoot, and accomplish preventive maintenance on small and large refrigeration, air conditioning (A/C) units.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Install, service and repair environmental-control system, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, soldering, braising and structural layout.
Recommends solutions to problems in design and fit during installation and repair of HVAC systems, using three phase industrial power; performs field fit work when approved by the customer.
