Job Description
The HVAC Technician (Chiller Technician) position will be based at Amentum’s US Embassy, in Baghdad, Iraq. The selected candidate will work out of the HVAC Shop and will be responsible for leading installation, maintenance, and repair to HVAC equipment throughout the embassy compound, and when necessary, at other IZ sites. This position reports to the HVAC Supervisor. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and not necessarily all inclusive.
**DUTIES:**
+ Perform maintenance and repair to 200T direct drive semi-hermetic rotary twin-screw MTS compressor chillers, AHU’s, fan coil units.
+ Maintain DX’s units ranging from 1T to 150T modular equipment working with a range of refrigerants.
+ Perform maintenance on VFD’s, motors ranging from 5hp to 40hp
+ Perform maintenance and repair on chill water circulation pumps
+ Proficient in troubleshooting chill...
