Job Description
The energy industry, particularly transmission grids, is undergoing major changes to accommodate for regional and global decarbonization and energy transition targets. HVDC technology in particular is increasingly becoming a major player in this energy paradigm shift to enable large-scale renewable energy generation, such as offshore wind or large interconnectors.
As an Engineer - HVDC, you will closely work with regional and global HVDC and power transmission experts within Jacobs to support and/or lead ongoing HVDC related projects as well as business development and proposal support with a variety of clients including renewable developers, transmission owner/developers as well as utilities.
The successful candidate shall demonstrate related experience and technical knowledge in the field of electrical high-voltage engineering, with emphasis on HVDC, through past experience with consulting engineering firms, developers and/or direct exposure to OEMs. Prior knowledge of ...
