Hydrologist / Water Resource Engineer (Mining)

WSP invites highly motivated professionals to join our Mine Water team as a Hydrologist or Water Resource Engineer.

About the Role

Located in our London office or Naas office (Ireland), the role is full‑time and permanent, focusing on a range of mining projects while also supporting local sectors such as infrastructure, manufacturing and land development.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the water resources aspects of mining projects, including environmental assessments, permitting, engineering design, ESG considerations, and water stewardship.
• Conduct climate, hydrological and hydraulic assessments; develop water management plans; perform water balance and climate change modelling; design water management infrastructure.
• Conduct dam‑break analysis and consequence classification assessment.
