Job Description

Tomlinson is Eastern Canada’s leader in environmental, construction and transportation infrastructure services. Tomlinson Environmental Services is seeking to hire a Hydrovac Operator (AZ/DZ Driver) for its Power Road facility. This is a full-time permanent and year-round position. This role is labor-intensive, and you will be required to drive a variety of trucks (Vacuum Trucks & hydrovac trucks). The location of the position is located on 5555 Power Road. This position would be working from Monday to Friday, from 7am to 5pm. (Hours have potential to start earlier and run later when required as well as occasional after hours and weekend work. It also includes on-call rotations for emergencies).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operating and driving primarily Hydrovac Trucks to transport waste mainly on local routes and short inter-urban routes.

  • Loading, unloading and handling vacuum hoses involving lifting items up to 50 pounds.
