Hyperbaric Technician

Job Description

:Under the direction of the Medical Director or Clinical Coordinator, and the safety supervisor the Hyperbaric Technician functions as a clinical support partner to assist the patient care team by performing varied tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional with regard to hyperbaric patient needs. Under the direction and delegation of a physician, Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Clinical Coordinator, or Registered Nurse, assists the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures for safe, quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements

Medical Assistant, Diver Medical Tech, Emergency Medical Technician certification, Paramedic certification, or LPN license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Qualifications

One year of wound care experience.

Experience in an acute hospital setting.
