Your opportunity

  • Be a part of a core function responsible for maintaining and delivering identity practices and there by learning one of the most important aspects of Cyber Security functions, which is ACCESS MANAGEMENT.
  • You will have an opportunity to bring any improvements to existing process(implementing security controls) and there by contributing to some tangible benefits.
  • You will work closely with projects and other teams to push the firm towards its goals.
  • You will work within a small team supporting the UK and Switzerland firm practitioners, focusing on delivering a quality service.


Your role

The role involves looking after all the firm's service lines, which includes user and systems administration, and data access management. This will include other environments as we move forward with the firm's technology strategy.

The role also requires the individual to adhere to a high level of security and risk procedures with are defined by Global standards. The candidate is expected to be able to work on their own using initiative and to manage third line support calls where necessary. The role will involve working with the Identity & Access Management team in the Extended Delivery Centre in U.S. India and other colleagues including interacting and working on projects across the function.


Responsibilities


  • Systems administration and management
  • Customer liaison fulfilling their requests and addressing any incidents
  • Housekeeping of accounts in Active Directory
  • Documentation & maintenance of processes as required
  • The role includes the development of detailed design documentation, provision of operational support and the resolution of complex technical problems
  • Must be able to query Active Directory and to generate custom reports for Management Information purposes
  • Systems administration and management is a core part of the role, and will comprise experience of using PowerShell for the following activities:
  • Understand, write, and amend scripts
  • Process changes (sometimes in bulk) to AD and Exchange objects
  • Run reports against active directory
  • Read and understand errors generated, leading to troubleshooting


Your professional experience


  • You have previously worked on Information Security projects.
  • You have an understanding on Identity and Access management and the security implications around it.
  • You understand Service Operations, e.G., incident management.
  • The successful candidate will have at least experience in Active Directory administration (preferably have an MCP)
  • Must have knowledge and experience of Microsoft infrastructure including, Active Directory, Exchange 2013/2016 and Folder Share Security
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft office suite products and Lotus Notes is expected
  • Experience in identity management is also required;
    ACL permissioning & theory of Chinese walls
  • Understanding of ISO standards especially around Access Management is preferrable
  • Skills in ServiceNow and Powershell are preferred for this role and training will be provided where required
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to learn new technologies quickly
