Skill Stork International School is seeking experienced and nurturing IB Early Years Programme (EYP) Homeroom Teachers to join our Early Learning team. The role focuses on delivering play-based, inquiry-driven learning aligned with the IB PYP Early Years philosophy, supporting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young learners. We are looking for educators who are passionate about early childhood education, child-centric learning environments, and holistic development within an international school setting. Key Responsibilities Serve as the Homeroom Teacher for IB Early Years classes Plan and implement play-based, inquiry-led learning experiences aligned with IB EYP guidelines Foster language development, numeracy, social skills, and emotional well-being Create a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment Observe, document, and assess student learning using age-appropriate IB assessment practices Maintain individual student portfolios and learning documentation Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, coordinators, and specialists Communicate effectively with parents through meetings, reports, and conferences Uphold child safeguarding, health & safety, and professional ethics Requirements Eligibility & Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years of total teaching experience Compulsory Minimum 2 years of IB Early Years / IB PYP experience Preferred Positions are open for experienced candidates only Freshers need not apply Qualifications E.C.C.Ed / NTT / Montessori-trained / D.Ed. / B.El.Ed. / B.Ed. Mandatory Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Child Development - Preferred IB certifications or IB professional development workshops Desired Desired Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of IB Early Years philosophy and practices Expertise in play-based and inquiry-driven pedagogy Warm, patient, and nurturing approach with young children Excellent classroom management and parent communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Commitment to continuous professional learning Computer skills compulsory Employment Commitment Requirement This is a full-time, on-campus role requiring complete professional commitment. Concurrent employment, freelance work, or private tuition during the academic year is not permitted. Pursuing any regular academic programme (full-time or part-time) that interferes with school responsibilities is not permissible. Candidates must be able to fully dedicate their time and professional focus to the school and students. (Any short-term or online certifications must be disclosed at the time of application.)
