Job Title: IKC (IBM Knowledge Catalog runs on CP4D)

Required Skillset: IBM, Cloud Pak, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift

Location: PAN INDIA

Experience Range: 5+ years

Job Description:

MUST HAVE:

• Understanding the purpose, value, and architecture of CP4D
• Proficiency in navigating the CP4D user interface and managing projects within the platform
• Knowledge of the AI Ladder and how IKC integrates with other services
• Understanding the difference between CP4D and the underlying Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
• General knowledge of cloud platforms (public or private) for deployment and scalability is a plus
• Ability to query metadata from IKC for reporting and analysis purposes
• Technical knowledge to connect to various data sources available on-premises or in the cloud
• solid understanding of data governance concepts, including the importance of data quality, compliance, and policy enforcement
• Skills in creating and managing catalogs, adding and curating data assets, and managing relationships between assets
• Knowledge of creating and implementing data protection rules, managing data masking functions, and ensuring compliance with regulations

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

• Manages catalogs, including creating them, managing collaborators, and setting configurations
• To have broad access to catalog features and can manage all catalog assets
• Working within agile, cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and create comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures
• Uses data governance capabilities to ensure data is trusted, high-quality, and accessible
• Govern and protects confidential information within catalogs
• Enables reporting on catalog asset metadata, which can then be stored in an external database
• Implement the governance framework by creating governance artifacts
• Curate data by performing Metadata import, metadata enrichment, data quality analysis, and publishing data assets to catalogs
• Fine-grained access controls, data protection rules, and encryption ensure data security and prevent unauthorized access.

• Automation of tasks like metadata management and governance reduces manual effort and overhead
• To integrate tightly with tools for AI model development, governance, ensuring a connected data pipeline
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) and related services
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
