Job Description:
- Design, develop, and implement Netcool solutions and custom extensions for event and alarm management across enterprise environments.
- Work with Netcool OMNIbus, Impact, Probes, Gateways, ObjectServer, and WebGUI components to build, configure and enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Develop correlation policies, rules files, parsers, probes, and gateways to process, categorize, and forward events.
- Integrate Netcool with ITSM tools, dashboards, APIs and enterprise systems for alerts, ticketing, automation, and observability.
- Perform troubleshooting, defect fixes, and performance tuning for production and pre-production environments.
- Provide L2/L3 support for event processing workflows, alarm ingestion issues, and incident resolution.
- Write scripts (Perl, Shell, Python, or Java) to support automation, integrations, and monitoring enhancements.
