1. IBM ODM Developer / Consultant (Software)

This role focuses on Business Rule Management Systems (BRMS) to automate business decisions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop decision services using Rule Designer (Eclipse-based IDE) and manage rules in Decision Center.
  • Create and maintain rule projects, including Action Rules, Decision Tables, Rule Flows, BOM (Business Object Model), and XOM (Execution Object Model).
  • Integrate ODM with Java/J2EE applications, utilizing REST/SOAP web services.
  • Deploy rule sets to the Rule Execution Server.
  • Translate business policies into executable rules in collaboration with business analysts.
  • Required Skills: IBM ODM 8.x, Java, J2EE, WebSphere, SQL/Oracle, Agile methodologies.
  • Experience: Generally 4–8+ years
