$ 957 p/day + Super


Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced ' IT Project Manager '.

The primary purpose of the role is to manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple, large, strategic IT projects, encompassing both applications and infrastructure projects requiring a high level of project direction and integration. This includes all program lifecycle deliverables during the standard phases of the agreed Project Management Methodology, Concept, Feasibility, Design & Planning, Build & Implementation, and Finalisation. The role is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects on time, budget and to base-lined scope.

  • Live the NSW Public Sector and organisational values to achieve outstanding outcomes for the organisation and customers
  • Manage multiple, large, complex IT projects of critical strategic importance to the business, adhering to the agreed Project Management Methodology
  • Develop and control project schedules and planning activities to ensure modules and programs are completed according to established project milestones and meet business requirements
  • Establish, manage, analyse and report on project budgets, issues, risks and schedules and recommend appropriate action to resolve any variances and to deliver project to meet base-lined time, budget and scope commitments
  • Complete and evaluate post project reviews to ensure adherence to IT change control procedures are adhered to
  • Mentor employees on relevant project management methodologies to ensure a consistent, professional approach to all IT projects
