Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide critical care nursing expertise in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center Intensive Care Unit. This contract opportunity involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule designed to balance work and personal time effectively. Join a dynamic ICU team supporting various specialized units including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU, with occasional float opportunities to medical-surgical units as needed. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care within your scope while adapting to a floating role among ICU units. The first week involves orientation and precepting on day shifts to ensure smooth integration. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a structured request time off (RTO) policy that avoids holidays and consecutive days off beyond two. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Ability to float across multiple ICU units as a mandatory facility requirement Comfortable working night shifts and adhering to a rotating weekend schedule (every other weekend) Residency within 75 miles of the facility preferred; local candidates highly encouraged Pending licenses will not be accepted for this position Location Highlights:Located in vibrant Naperville, IL, this opportunity places you in a well-established city known for excellent quality of life, rich cultural amenities, and abundant recreational activities.
