Ideation & Scripting Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with writers, producers, and the Ideation & Scripting Lead to evaluate drama proposals, scripts, and story concepts across the Chinese drama development slate, assessing creative quality, narrative effectiveness to support a sustainable and differentiated content pipeline.
• Shape and strengthen storylines, character arcs, and narrative structures to enhance dramatic impact, emotional engagement, and audience appeal across multiple projects.
• Identify and address creative gaps or development risks at both project and slate levels, recommending solutions to improve overall storytelling quality and consistency.
• Ensure scripts and concepts are creatively robust, distinctive, and appropriate for intended formats, platforms, and target audiences.
