IICS Developer

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Developer with 10+ years of overall experience to work on enterprise-scale data integration and cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) , cloud databases (preferably Google BigQuery) , and data warehousing concepts , along with the ability to function both as an individual contributor and a technical lead based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) .
• Work extensively with cloud databases , preferably Google BigQuery , to develop and optimize data pipelines and transformations.
• Apply strong data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, performance tuning).
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries , including stored procedures , for large-scale datasets.
• High level understanding of OLTP systems ; experience with Cloud Spanner on GCP is highly preferred.
• Act as an individual contributor for hands-on development when required.
• Lead and manage a team by providing technical and functional guidance , code reviews, and solution support.
• Collaborate closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work with the Architecture team to ensure alignment with enterprise data and cloud standards.
• Support UAT, production deployments, and post-deployment issue resolution.
• Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability of implemented solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with strong focus on data engineering and development.
• Proven hands-on experience in IICS development projects .
• Strong experience with Google BigQuery or other cloud databases (GCP preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing architecture and best practices .
• Advanced proficiency in SQL , including complex queries, performance tuning, and stored procedures.
• Having experience with GCP Cloud Spanner is a strong advantage.
• Experience working in cloud-based data ecosystems .
• Ability to balance hands-on development and team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
