Job Description
The ILE Project Engineer will support the development of the process flow for BIW bodies leaving the Body-in-White area and entering a new open‑floor buffer zone capable of holding approximately 35 bodies prior to packaging. Packaging may also include fitting additional components such as battery packs or other vehicle parts, using hoists and manual handling equipment.
Once packaged, units will be transferred out of the zone and handed over to logistics teams for onward shipment.
This role blends technical engineering with practical shopfloor activity. Some days will involve design, layouts and supplier management; others will be more hands-on, supporting area setup, trials, and general operational tasks.
