**Position Summary**Reporting to and functioning under general supervision of the Supervisor, the Imaging Technologist prepares for a variety of radiologic procedures to produce images of the body for the diagnosis of pathological conditions and traumatic disorders. Operates radiation producing equipment following specific physician orders. Produces detailed images of patients for diagnostic information. Verifies patient identification process prior to imaging, selects patient from worklist, ensures exam is archived on the PACS and completed properly in the RIS. Maintains facilities are in proper order. Must keep abreast of all imaging protocols and new imaging equipment.**Education**Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and registered by the ARRT, or registry eligible. Must obtain registry within one (1) year of employment.**Experience**Practical experience as a Radiographer preferred.
