Import Analyst

Overview

• Import Operations Management
• Ensure compliance with all applicable customs laws and regulations
• Calculate and manage import-related costs
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for different transportation options and logistics routes
• Maintain strong business relationships

Skills, qualifications and experiences

• Knowledge of import processes (such as customs clearance, Incoterms, and foreign trade regulations).
• Knowledge of required documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Import Declaration, etc.).
• Familiarity with computerized import management systems and shipment tracking software (such as Conexos) and data analysis tools.
• Basic understanding of customs and tax regulations (Import Taxes, ICMS, PIS/COFINS).
• Intermediate English or Spanish.
• Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
