Import Assistant

Responsible for timely and smooth releasing of imported goods from Bureau of Customs up to delivery of goods at site / warehouse. Prepares order transmittals and coordinates with vendors to address customer issues, including processing of warranty claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assesses and receives customer claims for warranty
• Coordinates with vendor to address product issues and warranty replacement claims
• Prepares, checks, processes and safe keeps all import documents, broker invoices and manifests to manage all container shipments in coordination with freight carriers and customers
• Handles releasing of imported goods which includes nomination of brokers
• Monitors and provides update regarding the release of imported goods from Bureau of Customs until the delivery to warehouse/project site
