An important medical manufacturing company is looking for an Import/Export Assistant. Position summary Assistance in activities related to imports and exports, as well as customs compliance. Support in coordinating land, sea, and air transportation. Duties and responsibilities Generate import and export records: Compare identification information and part numbers, weight, or measure new items to be registered. Monitor and review inventories temporarily, submit permit extensions as required with the support of the import/export department to the Mexican authorities such as (COFEPRIS/SEMARNAT, etc.). Able to identify differences in the type of product and packaging. Coordinate transportation for imports and exports of the company in a timely manner. Keep an accurate report of imported raw materials versus physical inventory in the plant.
