Job Description

Our client is seeking an Import Export Manager to join their team in Mason, MI where they manufacture food and beverage packaging products. 


This person manages the import/export process to ensure compliance with the export/import laws and regulations in all countries where the company does business while ensuring expeditious flow of international shipments.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support Transportation Procurement Manager for annual Ocean contract renewals for U.S. and Canada, as well as changes to external PO Management 3rd party site
  • Provide cost analysis to the organization for international ocean transportation lanes for U.S. and Canada
  • Process payment of some transportation and customs brokerage charges for U.S. and Canada
  • Manage multi-departmental team on export/import and trade agreement issues to mitigate risk, integrate proper processes across business functions and locations, and identify opportuniti...
