Import Officer

A minimum of an undergraduate degree.A certificate in Shipping, Clearing, and Forwarding is an advantage.
Experience in the Clearing and Forwarding industry
Strong knowledge of import and export documentation and processing
Familiar with port procedures at both sea and airport
Ability to work effectively with port authorities and clients

Prepare, process, and manage import documentation.

Liaise with port, customs, and other regulatory bodies to ensure smooth clearance of goods.

Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate logistics from origin to destination.

Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and related documents.

Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status and resolve clearance-related issues.
