Your Role

As an Air and Ocean Import Specialist , you will play a key role in supporting our Operations team .

In this position, you will:

• Manage day-to-day operations including customer inquiries, order processing, shipment tracking, and issue resolution, while ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers.
• Coordinate with overseas offices/agents, vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement, approvals, and seamless workflow.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all required shipping documentation (Manifests, Delivery Orders, billing records, and related paperwork) with complete accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor shipment progress, provide regular updates, handle complaints professionally, and deliver high standards of customer service.
• Oversee vendor invoicing and customer billing, maintain accurate operational records, ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies, and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive professional with:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Air and Ocean freight forwarding or logistics preferred
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Willingness to work in US shifts aligned with U.S. operations
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and freight-related systems
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset
• Prior experience supporting U.S. operations from a shared service setup.
• Understanding of shipping documentation like B/L, ISF, Arrival Notices, etc.
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise will be preferred
• Graduate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.

The work schedule will be as per US shift time (shift time 6 PM to 3 AM IST), for a total of 9 hours including a 1-hour break.
