Inclusion Assistant

Role Description

This is a casual, part time role. The Inclusion Assistant will support young autistic adults by facilitating participation in program activities, fostering a safe and inclusive environment, and assisting with their personal and social development. Responsibilities include providing individual and group support, helping participants access resources, preparing materials for a variety of activities, and collaborating with therapists and educators to support learning outcomes. Administratively, the role involves maintaining records of individual progress.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with neurodiverse individuals
• Experience or knowledge in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, or communication challenges
