This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced Independent Account Executive (1099) to partner with us on a commission-only, per-placement revenue basis. This role is ideal for sales professionals who excel at closing employer clients, managing relationships, and scaling revenue through volumewithout salary, draw, or guaranteed income. As an Independent Account Executive, you are responsible for winning and owning client accounts. You control how you prospect, pitch, and close employers, while we support delivery through our recruiter network. This role has no cap on clients, requisitions, or earnings. Key Responsibilities Prospect and acquire employer clients across multiple industries Present and sell recruiting services (contingent, exclusive, retained) Negotiate placement fees and commercial terms with clients Execute client agreements and manage account onboarding Conduct job intake calls and define role requirements with hiring managers Own ongoing client relationships and expand accounts into multiple placements Coordinate with recruiters on approved job orders Support offer discussions and placement completion Maintain accurate client, deal, and placement records in CRM/ATS platforms Requirements Proven experience in B2B sales, staffing sales, or recruiting sales Strong closing, negotiation, and relationship-management skills Ability to independently source and close employer clients Familiarity with CRM and ATS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Workday, iCIMS, Lever, ADP, SAP, PeopleSoft) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously Comfortable operating in a commission-only environment Compensation Structure (Revenue Share Only) Compensation is paid as 30% of gross placement revenue Paid only on successful, collected placements No hourly pay, salary, draw, retainer, or guaranteed income Placement fees are typically 18%25% of candidate salary Commission payout issued per agreed placement terms Example: $100,000 candidate salary 20% placement fee = $20,000 Account Executive earns 30% = $6,000 per placement Independent Contractor Classification This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not employment Account Executive controls schedule, prospecting methods, and tools Account Executive is responsible for taxes, insurance, and business expenses No benefits, PTO, or employment guarantees Why Partner With Us Fully remote and flexible engagement Unlimited income potential with no client caps Results-driven, transparent commission structure Dedicated recruiter support for delivery Opportunity to build a long-term book of business Ongoing collaboration opportunities for top performers
